An Ode To GG
My great grandma (GG) was many things: a baker who playfully slapped your face with bread dough, a homemaker who served humble casseroles on colorful china, and a seamstress who stitched school play costumes and refreshed her home while her husband was out of town. But most of all, GG was strong, proud, and Irish. She may have worn a silk nighty and bright pink lipstick, but you’d just as often find her smoking cigars with her grandsons and dancing ’til dawn. She made every day feel like a Hooley — and we’re better for it. So we’re carrying on the tradition at Hooley Market. Cheers to celebrating the every day. Let’s Hooley!
