My great grandma (GG) was many things: a baker who playfully slapped your cheeks with bread dough, a homemaker who served humble casseroles on colorful china, and a seamstress who crafted our school play costumes. I would be remiss to leave out her love of pranks and scary masks! But most of all, GG was strong, fierce, and Irish — loud and proud about our shared heritage. GG may have worn a silk nighty and bright pink lipstick, but you’d often find her smoking cigars with her grandsons and dancing ‘til dawn. She made every day feel like a Hooley, and we’re all better for it. So, we’re continuing the tradition here at Hooley Market. Cheers to making every day feel like a celebration. Let’s Hooley!
